Matte PET-G is characterized by a unique, matt surface. Not only does it give the printing a sophisticated look, but it also effectively masks the layers, improving the aesthetics of the final product. Compared to matt PLA filaments, Matte PET-G offers significantly higher strength. This allows solid and long-lasting prints to be created with an elegant appearance. It is perfect for designs where aesthetics are as important as the strength of the filament. Matte PET-G is easy to process, but to fully exploit its potential, higher printing temperatures between 260 and 280 °C are required, especially for high-speed printing, e.g. B. on BambuLab printers. These are crucial parameters to ensure optimal strength and an excellent bond. For optimal results, we recommend increasing the number of outlines and fills in the slicer settings.
Technical data:
Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
Printing temperature: 260-280 °C
Bed temperature: 90 °C
Weight: 850g filament
Diameter tolerance: +/- 0.02mm
Oval tolerance: +/- 0.01 mm
Matte finish
Very easy to print
Low susceptibility to shrinkage
Makes layer lines disappear well
Resistance to acids, salts and alkaline substances
No enclosure of the print space required
Print profiles:
Due to strong adhesion, it is not recommended to print directly on the surface of the table or glass , as this can cause damage. We recommend using a separator (Magigoo or adhesive tape).
