Like most of its forerunners, PC/ABS is suitable for prototyping. It is a durable material with excellent mechanical properties and impact resistance, especially at low temperatures. PC/ABS is resistant to high temperatures as well and can be a part of electrically stressed parts of consumer or office electronics. It is suitable as a part of printers, copiers, game consoles or keyboards. As the PC / ABS resists to mechanical and thermal loads, it meets the high demands on the interior material of car bodies or airbags.PC/ABS is a filament that is light but strong at the same time and shows minimal signs of wear even after several uses. Hardness of PC/ABS is comparable to Vinyl 303, Nylon CF15 Carbon or CPE CF112 Carbon.PC/ABS shows off excellent printing properties as well. We strongly recommend keeping the printing temperature in 260–280 °C, bed temperature in 90–105 °C and at speed of 30–55 mm/s. Sometimes less means more: we do not recommend fast cooling as it could lead into warping and shrinking. Also, less cooling helps to produce stronger parts because layers have enough time to bond well.
